In the book "The curious incident of the dog in the night time" there are numerous main characters who play very interesting roles through out the book. I would personally love to see the main character "Christopher Jon Francis Boone" in a different book because he is the most random character I have ever read in any book before. I would really like to read such a a character in a horror book because he would lighten the mood at times where the story would get really tense! As for the other characters, I would not mind reading about them and their bodacious roles and personalities in the same horror book as well for they could try to escape a room because the killer would like to play a harmless game and Mr. Shears (the antagonist in the book) would be killed in a subtle way or brutally murdered by the rampaging Raikou who is trapped in the same dark room in which all the characters would try to escape under the time limit.
Though it would be nice to see the majority of these characters in a more intense book, I would not like to see a couple of them in the same horror book for they fit this book perfectly and I would not like to change a single thing about them such as the father named Ed Boone; Ed is a loving and understanding character who is very supportive of his son Christopher when it comes to school or life in general. It would be a shame and slightly heart break to see a man like this meet death in a small room.
All in all, this book is very entertaining and I would like to see a few characters in a different book and some characters I wouldn't change.
